Seattle Art Museum
The current Art exhibit at the main downtown branch of the Seattle Art Museum showcases a wide variety of work mainly in celebration of this being the 75th year anniversary for the museum. As I toured the galleries, it was impressive with the wide range of genres and works on display. Antique pioneer furniture and house hold items used in the northwest, a wide variety of 1800’s American paintings, Northwest native American art mainly in the form of ceremonial headdresses and costume accessories, plus some Australian, Asian and African works.

A very large contemporary section of abstract paintings, photography, some glass sculptures, and various other sculptures all made my visit very well rounded in exposure to different Art.

That was an interesting visit. I think my favorite work was that gigantic painting of the Washington State coast. Very beautiful, and very cool. Oh, and I like this pic of you.
